President Bola Tinubu met with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday.
This meeting marks the monarch’s first official visit to the president since his installation as the 44th Olubadan in September 2025.

The visit comes a day after Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde met with Tinubu at the State House. Details of the meeting have not been disclosed.
Oba Ladoja, a former Governor of Oyo State, succeeded his predecessor, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, who passed away in July 2025. He previously held the position of Otun Olubadan, placing him next in line to the throne.
