According to Sani Uba, media information officer of the Joint Task Force (North-East), Operation Hadin Kai, the suspect sourced the illicit substance from Sarti Baruwa Local Government Area of Taraba State and transported it through established supply routes for onward distribution to terrorists operating in several communities in Borno.

The operation is part of efforts to disrupt illicit supply chains fueling violence and criminality in the region.

The suspect is currently in custody, undergoing preliminary investigation, as authorities work to identify and dismantle the wider network involved in the trafficking and distribution of the substance.
