Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has made history after becoming Galatasaray’s all-time leading foreign goalscorer in European competitions.
The striker reached the milestone on Wednesday night despite Galatasaray’s 3–2 defeat to Juventus in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League playoff clash. The Turkish champions, however, progressed to the Round of 16 with a 7–5 aggregate victory.

Osimhen scored Galatasaray’s opening goal in the entertaining encounter, taking his tally in this season’s competition to seven goals. His latest strike also brought his total number of goals in European competitions for the club to 13.
With that achievement, the 27-year-old surpassed the previous record of 12 goals set by former Czech forward Milan Baros, establishing himself as the club’s most prolific foreign scorer in Europe.
Osimhen’s impressive form has also placed him among the competition’s top scorers this season, where he currently sits fourth alongside Manchester City forward Erling Haaland.

The milestone further underlines Osimhen’s growing influence at Galatasaray, as he continues to play a key role in the club’s European campaign and push them deeper into the tournament.
