An Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has validated the 2025 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Convention, which took place on November 15, 2025.
Justice Ladiran Akintola delivered the judgment, granting the 13 reliefs sought by the claimant, Folahan Malomo Adelabi, through his counsel, Musbau Adetunmbi.
The court also dismissed an application for stay of proceedings filed by Austin Nwachukwu and others.
The judgment validates the emergence of the Dr. Taminu Turaki-led National Working Committee, which was elected at the convention.
The court had earlier directed the PDP to proceed with the convention, ordering the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to attend and monitor the exercise.
