Nigeria also acknowledged Ghana’s contributions to strengthening democracy and promoting regional stability through peacekeeping operations, mediation and conflict prevention initiatives across West Africa.

The government further commended the resilience and creativity of the Ghanaian people, while recognising the country’s Heritage Month celebrations, which highlight its rich cultural heritage and vibrant creative industries.

Reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to deepening bilateral relations, the statement stressed the importance of stronger diplomatic, economic and cultural collaboration between the two countries in advancing regional prosperity and African integration.
