Customers of Eko Electricity Distribution Company have been informed of a planned power outage scheduled for Saturday, March 14, to allow maintenance work on the electricity network.

In a notice issued to customers, the company said the outage will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. to enable contractors of the Transmission Company of Nigeria to carry out maintenance and upgrade works aimed at improving power supply.

The company explained that the temporary disruption is necessary to facilitate technical work on the network.
According to the notice, areas expected to be affected include Apapa, Kirikiri, Ajegunle, Mobil Road, and nearby communities in Lagos.
Eko DisCo apologised for the inconvenience the outage may cause and urged customers to bear with the company while the work is being carried out to improve electricity service delivery.
