Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has acknowledged the tough task ahead as Galatasaray prepare for the second leg against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.

Osimhen was instrumental in helping the Turkish champions secure a narrow first-leg victory over the English side, giving Galatasaray a slim advantage heading into the return match.

Speaking after the game, the Nigerian forward said, “The return leg next week will be difficult, but I have faith in my lads. I’m proud to have won today.”

Osimhen also expressed his happiness since joining Galatasaray and thanked the club’s fans for their support. “I’m very happy to have come to Galatasaray. I’m grateful for the love they’ve shown me and my family,” he added.

The decisive second leg is set to take place at Anfield, with the aggregate winner moving on to the Champions League quarter-finals.
