The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Iran national football team 2–1 in an international friendly played in Antalya, Türkiye, on Friday afternoon.
Nigeria took an early lead in the sixth minute through Moses Simon, who finished from close range after an assist by Samuel Chukwueze.

The Super Eagles extended their advantage shortly after the half-time break with Akor Adams scoring in the 51st minute following an assist from Ademola Lookman.
Iran reduced the deficit in the 67th minute through Mehdi Taremi, but Nigeria held on to secure the win.

Both teams made several substitutions as the game progressed, with Nigeria introducing players including Paul Onuachu, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Chidera Ejuke, and Frank Onyeka.
The Super Eagles will next face the Jordan national team in another friendly on March 31.
