ECWA expressed relief and gratitude, stating, “This release is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the power of collective prayer.”

However, the church warned that the incident reflects a broader security crisis facing Nigeria, calling on authorities to address the rising wave of kidnappings.

Agang was abducted from his residence in Jos, where armed groups have increasingly targeted commuters and prominent figures.

The incident sparked fear among congregants and the wider Christian community, leading to prayers and appeals for divine intervention.
