Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has paid a courtesy visit to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who recently joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) after leaving the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The visit, which took place at Kwankwaso’s Abuja residence, was confirmed by Atiku on Wednesday.
During their discussion, Atiku and Kwankwaso talked about the progress of the ADC and how to ensure good governance and recovery for the people.
Kwankwaso expressed gratitude for Atiku’s warm reception into the ADC and reaffirmed his commitment to delivering victory for the party.
Notable politicians who accompanied Atiku included Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Alhaji Kashim Imam, Senator Dino Melaye, and Alhaji Adamu Maina Waziri.
The ADC has welcomed Kwankwaso’s defection, describing him as a “game-changer” who brings valuable experience and grassroots connections to the party.
