The Falconets of Nigeria have reached the final of the women’s football event at the ongoing 2023 African Games in Ghana.
The Defending Champions defeated Uganda 2-0 in the semi-finals on Monday. Okoh Adaobi scored the first goal in the 74th minute before Chiamaka Okwuchukwu scored the winning goal in the 89th minute to ensure the Falconets qualifies for the finals.
The Team coached by Christopher Danjuma has now won all the group stage matches without conceding any goal , scoring eight goals in the group stage.
The Falconets will now face Hosts, Ghana in the final of the women’s football event at the African Games 2023.
