Some invited players reported to camp on Monday, while training began on Tuesday under the supervision of head coach Moses Aduku.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, the team has commenced intensive sessions focused on fitness, team cohesion, and tactical discipline, as the technical crew awaits the arrival of the remaining players.

During the opening training session, Aduku urged his players to stay focused and committed, stressing the importance of discipline, teamwork, and determination ahead of the crucial qualifiers.

Nigeria booked their place in the final round after defeating Senegal 3–1 on aggregate, while Malawi progressed after overcoming Guinea-Bissau.

The Falconets, two-time runners-up at the tournament, will be aiming to secure qualification for this year’s competition, scheduled to be held in Poland from September 5 to 26, 2026.
