A faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by David Mark is holding talks with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by Kabiru Turaki in Abuja, amidst leadership crises rocking both opposition parties.
This development comes as the ADC faces internal conflicts, with another faction led by Dumebi Kachikwu announcing plans to convene a national convention and establish an interim leadership.
The meeting between the Mark-led ADC faction and the Turaki-led PDP has sparked interest, given the current political landscape in Nigeria.
The ADC has been embroiled in a leadership dispute, with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) withdrawing recognition of the Mark-led leadership.
