Victor Osimhen has expressed confidence in his goal-scoring ability after inspiring Galatasaray to a crucial derby victory over Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Süper Lig title race.
The Nigerian striker, who was on target in the heated Istanbul derby, stated that he is capable of scoring against any opponent as Galatasaray edge closer to the league title.

Speaking after the match, Osimhen reaffirmed his belief in his role within the team. “If I get the chance, I can score against any team. That is my job, and I believe I do it well. We are getting closer to the championship,” he said.
The encounter, marked by intense rivalry and physical battles, saw Galatasaray strengthen their grip at the top of the table with a vital win over their closest challengers.

Osimhen also addressed off-field tensions surrounding the fixture, particularly complaints reportedly raised by Fenerbahçe before the match. He dismissed the concerns, stating that he found them difficult to understand given the stature of the opposition.

“I don’t follow social media, but I heard about the complaints. They are playing against one of the best teams in the league, so I don’t see the issue,” he added.
With only a few matches remaining, the title race remains tightly contested, but Osimhen’s consistent performances have been pivotal in Galatasaray’s push for domestic success. The club will continue to rely on his attacking influence as they aim to secure the Süper Lig crown.
