Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has approved the appointment of Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as the new Head of the Public Service.
Saka succeeds Kehinde Onasanya, who retired from the role. Before the appointment, Saka was Permanent Secretary at the Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services.
He joined the Ogun State Public Service as a classroom teacher on Grade Level 08 on May 15, 1993, and moved to the mainstream civil service as a Senior Administrative Officer on Grade Level 09 in 2006.
Born on February 15, 1968, Saka is a member of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Development.
In a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, the appointment was described as recognition of Saka’s dedication and service to the state’s public service.
