Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho was on target as Celtic defeated Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 to lift the Scottish FA Cup title.

The Super Eagles striker, who came off the bench, made an instant impact by scoring Celtic’s third goal in the second half to seal victory for the Scottish champions.
The win completed a domestic double for Celtic, who had already secured the Scottish Premiership title the previous week. It also marked their 43rd Scottish FA Cup triumph, reclaiming the trophy after losing it to Aberdeen last season.

Celtic took control of the final early, with Daizen Maeda opening the scoring in the 19th minute before Arne Engels doubled the lead in the 36th minute.
Iheanacho was introduced in the 58th minute and added his name to the scoresheet 15 minutes later, finishing off a solo move after dribbling past defenders before calmly slotting the ball home to make it 3-0.

Dunfermline pulled one back in the 80th minute through Josh Cooper, but it was only a consolation as Celtic comfortably saw out the victory.
The result also handed head coach Martin O’Neill another FA Cup success, adding to his previous three wins in his first spell in charge of the club.
