Social media influencer Blessing CEO, real name Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, was arraigned again on Tuesday for alleged fraud.

The EFCC’s Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 brought her before Justice R.A. Oshodi at the Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos. She faces two counts of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing N69.15 million.

The prosecution asked the court to proceed, saying the charge had been served. Her lawyer, Nkama Nneka, said service was only recent. Justice Oshodi ruled the arraignment should go ahead, and the charges were read. Blessing CEO entered a plea.

This is not her only case. Last Friday, the Federal High Court in Ikoyi heard her bail application over a separate N36 million fraud charge. Justice D.I. Dipeolu reserved ruling for June 9, 2026.

In that case, the EFCC claims she collected N36 million from Mrs. Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye between July 14 and July 17, 2024, promising to secure a 6-bedroom duplex in Lekki. The agency says the claim was false and the money was used personally.

Her lawyer told the court she had refunded N24 million and was negotiating to pay the balance, with the complainant allegedly willing to withdraw. The EFCC opposed this, saying only the Federal Government can decide on prosecution. The judge said settlement talks could continue but the criminal case must proceed. She pleaded not guilty and was remanded in EFCC custody pending the bail ruling.

Blessing CEO remains one of Nigeria’s most talked-about online personalities, known for blunt takes on relationships, marriage, and celebrity life. She’s no stranger to controversy and legal battles.
