Nigerian music promoter and socialite, Sam Larry, has reportedly been hospitalised after he was involved in a road accident along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road in Lagos State.

The accident, which reportedly occurred in the early hours of Saturday, involved a vehicle conveying Sam Larry and a trailer. According to reports, the vehicle collided with the trailer, leaving it severely damaged.

The crash also reportedly claimed the life of Sam Larry’s bouncer, who was said to have died at the scene.

Videos and photographs circulating on social media showed the wrecked vehicle with extensive front-end damage, underscoring the severity of the impact.

The incident drew widespread attention after comedian and master of ceremonies Mario Wazobia shared posts on Instagram appealing to the public to pray for the music promoter.

In one of the posts, he wrote, “Pray for Sam Larry,” while another indicated that the socialite had been rushed to a hospital for treatment following the accident.

As of the time of this report, neither Sam Larry’s family nor his management team had issued an official statement regarding his condition.

Likewise, the police and other relevant authorities had yet to provide an official account of the crash or confirm reports of the fatality.

The incident has since sparked reactions across social media platforms, with many users expressing concern over Sam Larry’s condition, offering prayers for his recovery, and mourning the reported death of his bouncer.
