A fire incident has been reported at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) confirmed the incident in a statement, saying its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service (ARFFS) was responding to the situation.
The authority said its emergency response team was working to contain the fire and prevent further escalation.
FAAN added that no casualties or loss of life had been reported as of the time of the statement.
The authority said further updates would be provided as more information becomes available.
