President Bola Tinubu on Thursday received Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke for a private meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Adeleke arrived at the State House around 5:20 p.m., hours after the Independent National Electoral Commission presented him with his certificate of return.
The governor was re-elected last Saturday, August 15, on the platform of the Accord party. He polled 511,067 votes to beat the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, who got 444,815 votes.
The closed-door meeting with Tinubu comes barely five days after the Osun governorship election.
Details of their discussion were not made public.
