CAF President Kicks Off Four Days Country Visit

The President of the Confederation of African Football, Dr Patrice Motsepe will kick off a four-country visit on Monday that will include São Tomé and Príncipe, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Morocco from the 8th of April to11th of April 2024.

Dr Motsepe will on Monday visit the Headquarters of the São Tomé and Príncipe and meet football leadership and other football stakeholders in the country. He will also meet with the Head of State, President Carlos Vila Nova.

On Tuesday 09 April, the CAF President will be in Equatorial Guinea where he will meet with the Country’s Football Governing body in the morning, before meeting with the President of Equatorial Guinea, President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo in the afternoon.

After he visits Equatorial Guinea, he will proceed to Guinea Bissau on Wednesday, April 10th to meet with the President of the Country, President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, and the Guinea Bissau Football Federation.

He will complete his visit to Rabat, Morocco on Thursday, 11th April 2024 to attend the opening ceremony of the CAF Futsal Africa Cup of Nations (“AFCON”)
