A recent social media video captures a disturbing incident at Bamidele Olumilua University of Education Science and Technology, Ikere in Ekiti State.

In the footage, a female undergraduate is seen mercilessly hitting another student with a stick. Despite the victim’s pleas, the aggressor is heard callously saying, “Let me draw blood from you easily or hardly.”

The incident occurred on a Sunday, the same day the video surfaced online, allegedly on the BOUESTI campus.

According to the commentator in the video, the victim is identified as Ajayi Precious Gloria, while the assailant is described as a “very popular” Mass Communication student. The commentator also suggested that the two were friends.

The video reveals bystanders witnessing the assault but failing to intervene. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.

This disturbing incident is reminiscent of recent similar cases of bullying that sparked outrage on social media.

In April, a viral video from Lead British International School, Abuja, depicted a female student being bullied by her classmates. Additionally, during the same month, another video surfaced showing bullying involving male students in the school’s uniform.
