Gunmen struck again, this time targeting the community of Budel in the Tangur district of Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State.
The attack, occurring on Thursday night, involved Gunmen setting homes ablaze.
No fatalities were reported because of the swift response of security forces.

Transition Committee Chairman Monday Kassah provided an update on the recent Christmas Day attack, revealing a total of 195 casualties. Rescue efforts are underway to locate missing individuals.
The statistics include 148 deaths in Bokkos, 19 in Mangu, and 27 in Barkin Ladi. Additionally, 1,290 houses were destroyed in Bokkos, one in Mangu, with the extent in Barkin Ladi yet to be determined
Plateau State governor Caleb Mutfwang condemned the attack, calling it “barbaric, brutal and unjustified”.
“The government will take proactive measures to curb ongoing attacks against innocent civilians,” said Gyang Bere, the governor’s spokesperson.
