The families of the detained officers are expressing concerns over the extended detention without public hearings, citing inconsistencies in public statements about the case.

They are appealing to President Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian military to intervene with fairness and compassion, emphasizing the importance of upholding constitutional rights.

The protesters are also highlighting the lack of access to their detained relatives, stating that the officers have been denied visitation and legal counsel for over five months.

They are urging civil society, the media, and international observers to follow the case closely, noting that public scrutiny is essential for justice.
