The 27-year-old was in goal for the Super Eagles in the Semi-final match against South Africa as he saved two penalties, denying the Bafana Bafana a chance in the final. He was also the second-best goalkeeper with four clean sheets at the Nations Cup behind South Africa goalkeeper, Ronwen Williams.
