BREAKING: Anuoluwapo and Godwin to Contest for Gold Medal in Badminton

Two Nigerian Badminton players, Anuoluwapo Opeyori and Godwin Olofua has qualified for the Gold medal in the Men’s Singles Badminton event at the ongoing AllAfricaGames in Ghana.

African Champion, Opeyori defeated his Egyptian opponent 2-1 in his semifinal match while Olofua saw off his Nigerian counterpart Victor Ikechukwu.

The final will see Anuoluwapo faces off against his Nigerian teammate, Godwin Olofua on Sunday evening at the Borteyman indoor sports complex in Ghana.

The duo have also qualified for the Men’s Doubles beating South Africa in the semifinals .
