The Press statement reads below;

For seven decades, MSSN has been a beacon of light, illuminating the path of knowledge, faith, and service in the hearts of Muslim students and youths across Nigeria.

Founded on April 18th, 1954 at Kings College, Lagos. MSSN is the first Muslim Youth Organization ever established in any part of the world by young secondary school students of Kings College, Methodist Boys and Girls College, St. Finbars College, Ansarudeen College, Anwar Islam College and others, led by young AbduLlateef Adegbite (Of blessed Memory)

Over the years, the society has stood the test of time, remaining steadfast in its commitment to promoting and propagating the true teachings of Islam based on the Quran and Sunnah. Over the years, MSSN has produced outstanding individuals who have excelled in various fields of endeavors, contributing to the development of our nation and the world at large.

As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on the remarkable achievements of MSSN. From its inception, MSSN has been at the forefront of advocating for the rights and welfare of Muslim Students, providing a platform like no other for intellectual, administrative and spiritual growth, and fostering unity and brotherhood among young Muslims.

In Commemoration of the platinum anniversary, MSSN Lagos State is presently putting together a comprehensive anniversary program which will be communicated to the general public in due course.

We acknowledge with gratitude the foresight and dedication of our founding fathers, whose vision and sacrifice laid the foundation for the MSSN we are proud of today.

We also remember and pray for all the martyrs of the society, whose selfless devotion to the cause of Islam and MSSN will forever be remembered.

As we look to the future, we call on all those who have passed through MSSN, as well as current members and supporters, to continue to uphold the values of the society and contribute to its growth and development. MSSN is not just an organisation; it is a family, a community, and a legacy that we must continue to nurture and protect.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to all individuals, organisations, and institutions who have over the years supported MSSN. Your support has been instrumental in the success the Society has achieved today, we hope and pray that this partnership and collaboration for the propagation of Islam and the betterment of our society is sustained.

As MSSN marks her 70th anniversary, let’s all recommit ourselves to the ideals of knowledge, faith, and service to humanity. May Almighty Allah continue to guide and bless MSSN and grant us success in all our endeavors.Amin.
