The Qualified Teams for the 2025 Fifa World Club in the United States of America will receive up to fifty million euros for qualifying for the new format of the tournament.

The European contenders for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in the United States have been decided following the conclusion of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. Atlético Madrid secures a spot after Barcelona’s exit, joining Real Madrid as Spain’s representatives. With only two clubs per country eligible, Red Bull Salzburg earns a berth via UEFA coefficients.

In total, 24 of the 32 spots for the Club World Cup are now filled. Europe finalizes its 12 representatives, including English clubs Chelsea and Manchester City. The United States may field up to three teams, while Africa’s presence includes Wydad Casablanca and Al-Ahly.

Seattle Sounders and potentially Philadelphia Union represent the United States, with the qualification process for the third slot yet to be determined. The tournament, slated from June 15 to July 13, 2025, will test national team players amid a packed schedule including World Cup qualifiers and the UEFA Nations League final.

While the tournament may strain players, the allure of €2.5 billion prize money, with clubs earning €50m for qualification and up to €100m for winning, makes it enticing. Games are expected to primarily take place on the East Coast, with the West Coast hosting Concacaf Gold Cup matches.
