Miracle Oluebube Ezechukwu secured her second qualification for the World Athletics U20 Championship in Peru at #MTNChampsJos.
Despite the scorching sun in Jos, she blazed through the women’s 200m with a remarkable Personal Best of 24.05s (-0.8), comfortably surpassing the 24.35s qualification standard.
This win marks her second title in the Junior category. Joining her in the stellar performance, Chigozie Rosemary Nwankwo achieved her second sub-25s run in the 200m, setting a new PB of 24.58s for a 2nd place finish, while Ojone Akubo-Adegbe clinched 3rd with a PB of 25.63s.
They’re all set to compete in the MTN Champs final in Calabar with their eyes on the World U20 Championship.
