Over fifty suspects linked to the clashes were apprehended, and their shanties demolished, disrupting their illicit activities. However, during the operation, officers uncovered a hidden drug den, exposing the extent of criminality in the area.

Lagos State Police Command, in a statement signed by Lagos PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, affirmed Commissioner of Police Adegoke Fayoade’s directive for the prompt prosecution of the arrested individuals. Fayoade warned of decisive action against those disturbing the peace.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Operations), Area Commander Alagbado, along with other Divisional Police Officers, remained vigilant to prevent further disturbances.
