Nigeria Professional Football League club , Rivers United have sacked their Head Coach,Stanley Eguma after 16 years .

Despite his tenure, the club decided to part ways with Eguma following a disappointing performance, notably a loss against Remo in a rescheduled NPFL match.

In the wake of Eguma’s departure, assistant coach , Evans Ogenyi has stepped up to assume the role of head coach. Ogenyi now faces the daunting task of leading the team and steering them towards success in upcoming matches.
