Highlighting its stringent adherence to safety standards, Air Peace emphasized the intense scrutiny its Lagos-London route has been subjected to since its inception a few months ago.

The airline’s statement condemned the dissemination of what it termed as “falsehoods” aimed at sowing seeds of fear and doubt among the flying public.

Acknowledging communication from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) following a Ramp Inspection conducted on April 7, 2024, Air Peace clarified that it promptly responded to queries regarding its utilization of Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) and addressed other concerns raised by the regulatory body.

The statement underscored that the airline’s compliance with safety regulations is paramount, citing approval for EFBs from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and certification for all Boeing 777 aircraft to operate with such technology.

Addressing specific allegations regarding the absence of iPad mounts and charging ports in the cockpit of its B777 aircraft, Air Peace reiterated that all its planes of this model are equipped with the necessary amenities, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers.
