Reports are emerging of a significant fire incident at the Dangote Refinery in Lagos.
Details about the cause of the fire are currently unknown, and there have been no reports of casualties.
However, online footage reveals a large blaze, indicating a serious situation.
AAN gathered that emergency responders have arrived at the scene and the fire has been contained.
A Press Release from the Dangote Group stated that: “Dangote Refinery contains minor fire at its effluent treatment plant.
“We have swiftly contained a minor fire incident at our effluent treatment plant (ETP), today Wednesday, 26th June.
“There is no cause for alarm as the refinery is operating and there is no recorded injury or body harm to all our staff on duty.”
