The Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, has ordered the arrest of two commission officers allegedly involved in assaulting a female staff member at Regional Hotel in Ojo, Lagos.

A viral video shows EFCC officials, dressed in plain clothes, forcefully entering a hotel room. An unidentified female employee attempts to open the door from inside when one of the officers slaps her and orders her out of the room. The entire incident was recorded by the hotel’s Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system.

Olukoyede emphasised that the EFCC remains committed to conducting its duties professionally and with utmost respect for the rule of law.
