Farooq Oreagba, whose stunning appearance stole the spotlight at the 2024 Ojude Oba Festival, has been recognized as an Honorary Ambassador by the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC).
Dressed in a vibrant green and yellow Asooke Agbada, Oreagba rode gracefully on horseback, capturing attention and acclaim during the festival celebrating the Awujale of Ijebu Ode.

Obi Asika, Director General of NCAC, announced the recognition on social media, praising Oreagba’s cultural pride and resilience in the face of health challenges.
Oreagba, who battled and triumphed over cancer, symbolised hope and the indomitable Nigerian spirit at the festival, where his unique style and presence resonated globally.
His appointment as NCAC Ambassador underscores his role in promoting Nigerian culture and inspiring others with his courage and distinctive fashion sense.
