Team Captain of Nigeria, Anuoluwapo Opeyori, was defeated in his opening group game against Switzerland’s Tobias Kuenzi, losing 2-0 in the men’s Badminton Singles on Tuesday evening.

The two-time African Games Champion showcased commendable skill, nearly clinching the first set. He led by three set points but ultimately lost in a tie-break with a score of 22-20.
