On Tuesday, Tunisia’s administrative court ruled in favor of prominent politician Abdellatif Mekki, reinstating his candidacy for the upcoming presidential election scheduled for October 6.
The court’s decision came after Mekki’s initial exclusion by the electoral commission, which cited insufficient popular endorsements as the reason.
According to judicial and political sources, the court’s ruling is final and cannot be contested further.
