The dates for the 2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) final tournament have been confirmed.
Following the CAF Executive Committee meeting in Nairobi, Kenya on Monday, September 16, 2024, CAF President, Dr. Patrice Motsepe confirmed the dates for the tournament will take place from February 1st to 28th 2025.2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN) final tournament.
The first round of qualifiers is set for the weekend of October 25-27th, 2024. The tournament will be hosted in East Africa, with details regarding stadiums and venues to be announced by CAF soon.
During a visit to some of the venues in Kenya, Dr. Motsepe commended the progress but emphasized the need for swift collaboration to ensure all facilities are ready.
Senegal are the reigning CHAN champions, having won the title in 2022 after defeating Algeria in the final.
