Nigerian-born UFC star, Israel Adesanya has placed a $10,000 bet on Anthony Joshua ahead of his IBF heavyweight title fight against Daniel Dubois, scheduled for September 21, 2024, at Wembley Stadium, England.

The fight, set to take place in front of 96,000 fans, will be a high-pressure moment for Dubois, who will be fighting at Wembley for the first time, while Joshua is no stranger to the iconic venue.

In an Instagram post on Friday, Adesanya shared a picture of his wager, showing he picked Joshua to win between the 10th and 12th rounds, with a potential payout of $50,000. The post read: “ÒGÚN‼ This fight got beef…grab the #stake sauce.”

Dubois, however, has boldly declared his intention to knock out Joshua, aiming to hand him only the second knockout defeat of his career. Confident in his abilities, Dubois told Sky Sports, “I aim to knock him out. That’s the mindset… I’m going to focus my whole life on destroying him.”

Joshua, 33, is riding a wave of four consecutive wins, including a knockout victory over former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
