The second match saw Okesuna/Abitifa emerge as 2-0 winners over Phases 3 & 4.

Last year’s finalists, Massey/Carena, continued their strong run by defeating Tinubu/Luther 3-1, as they aim to surpass their previous performance in the competition.

The day’s final match, between Faji/Evans and Campus/Popo Aguda, ended in a dramatic 2-2 draw after Campus/Popo Aguda equalized with a last-minute penalty, forcing the match into extra time.

Despite the rain, Faji/Evans scored the decisive goal in extra time to win 3-2 and secure the last quarter-final spot. A total of 14 goals were scored on Matchday 2, slightly fewer than on Matchday 1.

The teams advancing to the quarter-finals are: Odunfa/Ricca, Ebute Elefun/Sura, Araromi, Anikantanmo/Swamp, Okepopo/Amuto, Okesuna/Abitifa, Massey/Carena, and Faji/Evans. The Quarter-Final draw will be confirmed soon.
