During a recent visit to Lebanon, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty delivered a message of solidarity from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, affirming Egypt’s steadfast support for Lebanon amidst escalating hostilities. Abdelatty conveyed Egypt’s strong commitment to Lebanon’s security, emphasizing the urgent need for an end to ongoing Israeli strikes.

“The purpose of this visit is to express Egypt’s solidarity with the Lebanese people and government during these difficult times,” Abdelatty stated. “Egypt will spare no effort in working toward an immediate halt to this unjust aggression.” His remarks underscored Egypt’s dedication to achieving a swift ceasefire and assisting Lebanon in its time of need.

Abdelatty highlighted Egypt’s comprehensive support for Lebanon, detailing that Egypt is extending every possible form of aid and assistance. “We wish Lebanon peace and stability, and we are fully committed to ceasing the aggression. Our initiatives are focused on the unified goal of bringing a quick end to this conflict,” he added.

The visit reinforces Egypt’s role as a steadfast ally of Lebanon and reflects the region’s broader concerns for peace and stability during this challenging period.
