A truck loaded with cowhide, popularly known as ponmo, overturned on the Mile 2 Oke bridge in Lagos on Thursday.
Eyewitnesses say the accident occurred during an altercation with agberos attempting to extort the driver.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) shared on X:
“A loaded truck lost control while descending the Mile 2 Ramp inward Apapa-Oshodi, falling off the road and spilling its content.
“The casualty is receiving medical attention, and safety measures are being implemented.”
