The Lagos State Commissioner for Youth, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende, was ably represented, alongside six Senior Special Assistants to the Governor of Lagos State, including Hon. Kunle Dabiri (SSA LASAA), Amb. Ruth Lijirin (SSA Civic Engagement), and Comr. Biliamin Olalekan Oba (SSA Social Development).

Others included Hon. Alabi Opeyemi (SSA Youth Mobilization), Hon. Saheed Balogun (SSA Legislative and Political), Amb. Oluwatobi Oladepo (SSA Special Duties), and Amb. Toyin Atanda (SSA Business and Training).

The event also welcomed the State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Lagos, officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) led by Mr. Abubakar, and Bariga LCDA councillors under the leadership of Hon. Temitope Okanlawon.

A key highlight of the summit was the in-depth dialogue on the role of youth in governance and their potential to shape the future of Nigerian politics.

Participants emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between grassroots initiatives and high-level political engagement.

The summit was lauded as a significant milestone in fostering youth empowerment and setting a precedent for legislative engagement within the Bariga LCDA.
