German President Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier is set to embark on a three-day official visit to Nigeria from December 10 to 12, according to a statement released by the German Embassy in Abuja.
This visit marks the third high-level exchange between the two countries since President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration.
Steinmeier will be accompanied by industry leaders and board members from some of Germany’s top companies in the fields of IT, high-tech, and energy.
During his stay, the German President will hold meetings with President Tinubu and Dr. Alieu Omar Touray, President of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Commission.
Additionally, President Steinmeier is scheduled to meet renowned Nigerian artist Dr. Nike Okundaye, widely known as Mama Nike, and Nobel Laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka during his visit to Lagos.
