Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has been remanded in Kuje correctional centre pending hearing on his bail application.
The Federal Capital Territory High Court made this decision, adjourning the N110 billion alleged money laundering case to January 29-30 and February 25-27.
Bello pleaded not guilty to the charges, but his request for bail remains under consideration.
The trial judge, Maryann Anenih, has scheduled the next hearing sessions for January and February, giving the court time to evaluate Bello’s bail application.
This development marks a significant turn in the ongoing investigation into Bello’s alleged financial impropriety.
