A fatal auto crash along Minna-Suleja Road in Niger State has claimed the life of the chairman of Katcha Local Government Area of the state, Danlami Abdullahi Saku.

It was gathered that Saku died in the accident that occurred about 7pm on Tuesday at Kwakwuti area of the road on his way to Abuja.

The Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the governor, Bologi Ibrahim, confirmed the incident, saying his principal, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, received the news with rude shock and described Saku’s death as heartbreaking.

According to him, the demise of Saku is a sharp reminder that all creatures are from Allah and unto Him they will return at the appointed time.

The governor, therefore, commiserated with the family of the deceased, the people of Katcha local government area, and the entire State over the loss.

He urged the people to remain steadfast in the will of Allah at all times, stressing that He is perfect in all things.
