The road to the historic FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, set to be hosted by Morocco in 2025, has officially been made. The draws which was conducted at CAF headquarters in Cairo, laying the foundation for Africa’s representatives in the prestigious global event.
A total of 28 African nations will compete for four available slots to join hosts Morocco as the continent’s five representatives at the expanded tournament, which will feature 24 teams for the first time. The global competition is scheduled to take place from 17 October to 8 November 2025.
The African qualifiers will unfold in a three-round knockout format, with home-and-away fixtures determining the nations that secure tickets to Morocco.
