President Bola Tinubu has suspended all his official engagements in Lagos today to honour the victims of recent stampedes in Abuja and Anambra State.

The tragic incidents claimed the lives of ten people, including children, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Maitama, Abuja.

Similarly, an unconfirmed number of residents lost their lives in Okija, Anambra State, during a rice distribution event on Saturday morning.

President Tinubu expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended his condolences to the bereaved families.
