Former Serie A champions, Napoli are reportedly interested in Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford and are willing to discuss a swap deal involving Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen, the 25-year-old Nigerian international, has been linked with a move to Manchester United, particularly after the appointment of Ruben Amorim as manager. Although Osimhen expressed interest in joining the Premier League last summer, no club met his demands or Napoli’s valuation, leading him to join Galatasaray instead after being sidelined at Napoli.

Recent reports suggest that the interest in Osimhen from Manchester United has intensified over the past two weeks. While Napoli had initially sought only cash for Osimhen, the club’s stance may now be shifting towards a potential player swap.

Transfer News Live reports that Napoli is keen on Rashford, who appears open to leaving Manchester United, and is considering a deal that would see Rashford and Osimhen swap places.

According to Transfermarkt, Osimhen is valued at €75 million, while Rashford’s valuation stands at €55 million, which could see Napoli request additional funds from Manchester United to balance the deal.

Osimhen has been in strong form at Galatasaray, registering 12 goals and five assists in 15 appearances this season. With the winter transfer window opening on January 1, it remains uncertain whether Osimhen will move in January or stay with Galatasaray for the remainder of the season.
