Stand-in Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede has named a 26-man squad for a closed-camping exercise at the Remo Stars Sports Institute, Ikenne-Remo, starting Monday. The camp is in preparation for the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals, set to take place from February 1 to 28.
The squad includes captain Nduka Harrison Junior, goalkeeper, Henry Ozoemena, defenders Sadiq Ismail and Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, midfielder Saviour Isaac, and forward Sikiru Alimi. Other notable call-ups are goalkeeper Kayode Bankole, defenders Imo Obot and Stephen Manyo, midfielders Rabiu Ali and Papa Daniel Mustapha, and forwards Emmanuel Ogbole and Adamu Abubakar.

The Super Eagles B team qualified for the CHAN finals by defeating Ghana’s Black Galaxies 3-1 in Uyo, following a goalless first-leg draw in Accra.
The upcoming CHAN tournament will feature 18 nations, including joint hosts Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, who will use the event to test their facilities ahead of co-hosting the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
